Tour of Hainan. Henok Mulubrhan finishes third on the queen stage

The third, queen stage of the Tour of Hainan took place, featuring three categorized climbs. Astana Qazaqstan Team rider Henok Mulubrhan secured a third-place finish on the stage, moving up to third place overall in the General Classification of the Chinese stage race.

“I’m grateful to the team for their help and support during the stage today. We tried to control the race, and overall, everything was going well. But on the final kilometer, Gate attacked, and we couldn’t close the gap immediately, and by then, it was too late. It’s frustrating because the team worked very well. Nevertheless, we have two more days ahead, and we’ll be fighting for victory on each of these stages”, – said Henok Mulubrhan.
